SUMMARY

A meeting of the Indian Hills/Glen Eden Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors was held November 18, 2009, at 7 PM at the Community Center.  In accordance with Article VIII, B of the by-laws, at least five directors were present when the meeting was called to order.  The agenda for the meeting is attached.

DISCUSSIONS

The minutes of the October 21, 2009 Board Meeting were approved as submitted.

I  Treasurer’s Report

Sophia Phillips reviewed the budget performance to date.  Utilities are running a little higher than last year, and this could be due to the new ice maker, but there’s not enough information to trend.

PNC bank said there was a missed mortgage payment, but it turns out that the bank didn’t bill Anne Arundel County who manages our mortgage, so no payment was made.  Except for some minor adjustments, the issue should be straightened out.

Anne Arundel County accepted the audit report for the year.

Repairs have been identified for tennis, basketball, playground equipment.

II Signage

$5,565.8 for all three signs, installation and lighting.  All materials are in and work is ready to commence.  The job is waiting to see if we want the top of the wall sealed for $1,056.30 prior to installation.  BGE estimates $5,000 to provide power to all the signs.
The repair action was approved by unanimous vote.

III Christmas House

Springhill Community sponsors a Christmas House decorator show place 5 – 20 December at $15 in advance, and provides a trolley for 20 or more people at $14 each.  There will be showcases and seminars with many items for sale.  Diane is willing to hold a wine and cheese at her house if anyone is interested. Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM.  12/6 pickup at 2 PM

IV Directory Update

The on-line form is too hard to read when printed.  The directory needs the logo from the sign contractor, and is just about finished, ready for printing and distribution.

The next meeting will be December 16 at 7 PM.
