SUMMARY

A meeting of the Indian Hills/Glen Eden Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors was held on August 18, 2010, at 7 PM at the Community Center.  In accordance with Article VIII, B of the by-laws, at least five directors were present when the meeting was called to order.

DISCUSSIONS

The minutes of the July 21, 2010 Board Meeting were approved as submitted.

  1. Melissa Bowen moved and Ralph Johnson seconded that Mike Zuhowski be elected to the open Vice President position. The motion carried.
  2. Melissa Bowen moved and Teresa Woo seconded that Daryl Hartley be appointed to the open Member at Large position on the Board, since he received the next highest vote total  in the annual election. The motion carried.
  3. Mike Zuhowski reported that he met with the home owner that was keeping chickens. The owner agreed to remove the chickens, and also to keep his dog on a leash and off other people’s property.
  4. The Board asked Melissa Bowen to send out an email reminding owners that school is starting and to be extra careful on the roads.  Also a reminder to be included about keeping speeds down, and to keep dogs leashed at all times. Teresa Woo will also investigate the problem of the Fedex delivery truck speeding in the community with the Fedex Office.
  5. Teresa Woo will be getting quotes to do some cosmetic work on the clubhouse, such as painting the door frames, repairing soffit, siding repair, and any other noticeable minor problems.
  6. Melissa Bowen reported on the pool operations noting that the regular guards will be going back to school, and replacement guards will be working until the pool closes. The hours of operation will be reduced once school starts to 1 to 6 PM during the week.
  7. Teresa Woo signed the loan refi agreement with the County, Ralph Johnson witnessed it, and it will be sent back to the County for their signatures. Once complete, we will then move forward with First Citizens Bank to set up the new loan and pay off the PNC loan.
  8. The damaged tree at the entrance to the community was discussed, and will be evaluated for replacement.

The next Board meeting will be September 15, 2010 at 7 PM.
