Public meeting on proposed intersection safety enhancements
WHAT: Public meeting concerning the intersection of Joyce Lane and MD 2 (Ritchie Highway) WHY: In response to public input, increased traffic volume and crashes, the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) has studied this intersection and developed a proposed change to the intersection. SHA would like to present the proposed change to interested citizens and receive comments. WHERE: Chesapeake Academy, 1185 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. (MD 648), Arnold, MD 21012 WHEN: Monday, August 4, 2008. Presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. WHO: General public invited. Engineers from SHA will present traffic study findings and recommended alternatives. Citizens are encouraged to ask questions and present concerns/suggestions at this meeting.
